My name is Pavlides Vassilis and I am currently teaching French at Soleas Lyceum. As being a bilingual teacher, I am also fluent at English, apart from mother tongue Greek. I am in my early fifties with a lot of involvement in the local council, the parents' association, the teachers' association and many others. I love dancing, theatre, music and travelling. I have taught students for more than twenty years in the private sector and i have been teaching students for five years , either in Gymnasiums or Lyceums, in the public sector. I try to find solutions to any problems that arise at school by staying calm. I do grab any challenges without being afraid even though it is my first time that I participate. Moreover, I take part in conferences and congresses. I still get informed about brand new teaching materials and teaching techniques which I use in class to see how they work. I try to encourage and reinforce my students at every lesson. Furthermore, I insist on students taking part in competitions as they meet new friends and they broaden their horizons. Last but not least I am very democratic with my students at scool. I do not force them do things they do not like.
