Make the most of your Project Diary

picture

Share the success of your eTwinning project with others via the Project Diary, previously known as the TwinBlog.

All registered eTwinning projects are equipped with a TwinSpace and a Project Diary. While the TwinSpace is the collaborative workspace for teachers and pupils to work together, the Project Diary is a special area for project partners (teachers only) to report on their project’s progress – before, during and after the project.

Project Diaries can be displayed and used in different ways. It can be:

  • Hidden: The diary posts remain private for you individually to document and write about your project.
  • Public: The diary posts are public for you share your projects work with anyone.  Visitors can then comment on what you are doing and gain inspiration from your work.
  • Restricted: The diary posts are visible only to the eTwinning community. This means that you, your partners and all eTwinners can view and comment.

Private: The diary posts remain private to you and your National Support Service who can then comment and support you should you have any questions.

This tool is an excellent way for teachers to share their work, gain inspiration from others, exchange ideas and be in direct contact with National Support Services.

The Project Diary is accessible from the eTwinning Desktop under “My Projects”.

Some examples of public Project Diaries:

Previously, the Project Diary was referred to as the TwinBlog, which replaced the Progress Card in 2008 when the new eTwinning Portal and Desktop where launched.
