As the 2010-2011 school year gets going, be sure to include eTwinning in your planning.

We hope that everyone is ready and excited for a new school year! eTwinning certainly is and we’ve got a number of exciting things ahead! While you are planning your classes and activities for the autumn term, see how you can incorporate eTwinning in both your classroom and professional development goals.

Some things to look forward to:

  • A new eTwinning Desktop: In October, eTwinners will be able to make use of a new version of the eTwinning Desktop. With more tools for networking and sharing information, this new version will allow you to access everything you need in one place.
  • eTwinning Weeks: During the entire month of October, eTwinners will be invited to kick off the new school year through various activities aimed at promoting eTwinning in the community.
  • eTwinning Prizes 2011: On 15 October, eTwinners will be invited to submit their 2009-2010 eTwinning projects in the pan-European competition. Remember: to participate, you must have a European Quality Label.
  • eTwinning Camp 2010: We are pleased to announce that it has been rescheduled for 29 September – 3 October in Malaga, Spain. Follow us on the camp community.

There are many more activities taking place at national level as well, so be sure to check what your National Support Service is doing for this new school year.

Best of luck for the 2010-2011 school year!
