Turkey joins eTwinning!

picture

We are pleased to announce that Turkey is now part of eTwinning.

The entire eTwinning team is happy to welcome Turkey to eTwinning. Already in the first few days of registration, many Turkish schools have joined and we look forward to welcoming many more!

The National Support Service (NSS) for eTwinning in Turkey is part of the General Directorate of Education Technologies within the Turkish Ministry of Education (MEB Eğitim Teknolojileri Genel Müdürlüğü). If you would like to have more information about collaboration in Turkey, please contact the coordinator, Mehmet Muharremoğlu (etwinning@meb.gov.tr).

If you would like to get in touch with a Turkish school, you can search for registered Turkish schools in your Desktop in the ‘Partner Finding’ section.
If you are a Turkish school looking to get started, here are a few pointers once you are logged into your eTwinning Desktop:

  • Update your personal and school Profiles with text and photos
  • Search for interesting contacts using the Partner Finding area
  • Contact schools by sending messages through your Mailbox
  • Invite other eTwinners to be part of your Contacts
  • Post messages and replies on the Forum
  • Write on profile Walls and project Guestbooks

For more information on how to use eTwinning tools, have a look at the eTwinning Guidelines.

We hope that many new and existing projects will involve Turkish schools this year and wish all schools the best of luck!
