Project Card: talk to your National Support Service!
The Project Card is a new feature now available for all eTwinners engaged in a project to remain in contact with their National Support Service.

A few months ago we launched a quick poll on the eTwinning Desktop about the Project Diary. We wanted to know whether it was used and for which purpose. We realised that, out of the 500 answers we got, a good 2/3 indicated that projects used the Diary, but only 20% of them used it to communicate with the National Support Services (NSS). The Diary is mostly used for blogging the project.
During the summer we have then developed a new tool, which is called ‘Project Card’. It gives the possibility to talk directly with your NSS, and get support and advise from them. It’s a direct communication channel, easy to use and manage.
How does it work? If you are familiar with the Desktop and the Journal you won’t have problems: the Project Card is a Journal which is accessible from your projects page: simply click on ‘Project Card’ and you will get to a Journal where you can post messages, upload files and write comments. This Journal is only usable by the partners of the project and their NSS. Your posts will only be visible for you and your NSS. This guarantees that the communication between you and your NSS is as private as possible: you can then use your own language in expressing your doubts and concerns, but also your enthusiasm and commitment!
And the Project Diary? Continue using it as much as you want! Use it for blogging, for telling the world what your project is up to at the moment. But if you want to address your NSS, now you have the new tool called “Project Card”.
Good luck!
