New eTwinning publications
eTwinning has now released its two latest publications: the eTwinning book Voices of eTwinning: Teachers talk, and the eTwinning report Teachers’ Professional Development: an overview of current practice. |
Voices of eTwinning: Teachers talk has been written by teachers from many different European countries who play an active part in eTwinning and wish to share their enthusiasm, their experiences, as well as their challenges. As eTwinning is the Community for school in Europe, Voices of eTwinning literally gives the floor to the teachers, who share their many and varied experiences in the following area: - Getting involved in eTwinning
- Putting eTwinning into practice
- Experiencing the eTwinning community
- My eTwinning projects
- eTwinning and professional development
- eTwinning – the personal impact
The report Teachers’ Professional Development: an overview of current practice aims at understanding on how eTwinning and national and local teachers’ professional development schemes interact. It is based on the findings of the monitoring actions of the eTwinning by the Central Support Service in the year 2010. The monitoring focused on three countries that have shown success in their eTwinning activities, namely Estonia, Poland and Spain and examines three main questions: - What is the relationship between eTwinning and professional development?
- How do they influence each other and how do they support each other?
- How can eTwinning contribute to professional development, and vice versa?
Voices of eTwinning is available in 24 languages (change the language of this page to access other language versions) and Teachers’ Professional Development in 5 languages (EN, FR, DE, ES, IT).
