The most recent round of European Quality Labels have now been awarded to schools across Europe for their excellence in eTwinning project work.

Since its launch in 2006, the European Quality Label has been awarded to hundreds of schools in order to additionally recognise their quality in terms of European collaboration.
Winning Schools - October 2010
eTwinning offers a unique possibility for schools to not only participate in collaborative projects with a sophisticated support system and range of online tools, but also to actively pursue their professional development and receive recognition for the quality of their work. Each country’s National Support Service (NSS) evaluates and awards a National Quality Label to schools they determine to have fulfilled the criteria necessary. When at least two schools in a project have received a National Quality Label by their respective NSS, they then receive the European Quality Label from the Central Support Service (CSS) based in Brussels. This unique label denotes that the work of teachers, students and schools has been recognised at the highest European level. These teachers and their projects become exemplars to others in regards to what is possible to achieve within the eTwinning Action. This latest round of schools awarded with the European Quality Label will receive their labels in the coming month.
