eTwinning Camp: Heading to Greece!

picture

From 21-25 April, the winners of the eTwinning Prizes 2009 are in Nea Moudania, Greece, for the eTwinning Camp 2009.

Awarded on 13 February in Prague as the top eTwinning projects in Europe, teachers and pupils from the four winning projects are spending four days together in sunny Nea Moudania at the Oceania Club (www.oceaniaclub.gr) to meet their project partners face to face and take part in a number of workshops and cultural activities.

The Workshops

Pupils and teachers will learn about fun and easy ways to create animation movies, conduct fun science experiments, develop their power of thinking, and show their artistic sides through music and arts & crafts. In addition, older pupils and their teachers will do a session on Spring Day for Europe 2009, where a guest speaker will talk to them about the European Parliament and they will take part in a role-playing session.

Cultural Activities

As Nea Moudania is not far from Thessaloniki, participants will head to the city for a full day excursion on 24 April.

Blogging the Camp

In addition to the workshops and excursions, there are many other activities planned! Be sure to follow the camp’s progress as pupils, teachers and organisers write about their daily activities on the eTwinning Camp blog
