eTwinning and Creativity

Have a look at the latest eTwinning resources in honour of the European Year of Creativity and Innovation.

Six months on, the European Year of Creativity and Innovation has certainly been very eventful. A number of activities in eTwinning so far this year have focused on the theme of creativity, such as the eTwinning Conference 2009 which brought together over 400 participants in Prague, and the new eTwinning Learning Events which offers eTwinners online training opportunities on a number of topics.


Kits and Modules on Creativity

To build further on the idea of creativity, eTwinning has now developed three new kits and one new module that focus on creative thinking:

•    Kit 1: Develop Your Ideas (ages 4-12)   
•    Kit 2: Broaden Your Perspectives (ages 4-12)
•    Kit 3: Creative Mind Mapping (ages 12-19)
•    Module: Taking Decisions (ages 4-12)

Interview with Maruja Gutierrez-Diaz

In addition to new resources, we recently had the chance to speak to Ms. Maruja Gutierrez-Diaz, who is heading the Year of Creativity and Innovation at DG Education and Culture in Brussels. Ms. Gutierrez-Diaz – a long-time supporter of eTwinning since its conception – spoke to us about eTwinning and how it fits into the year of creativity.
