Enjoy your holidays and stay tuned on the eTwinning portal

eTwinning wish you all a wonderful summer break! Take the possibility to have a more relaxed look on the portal and the Desktop, without the pressure of the daily lessons to prepare.

After rushing all along the school year, holidays are more than well deserved for all eTwinners! However, the summer break also gives the opportunity to step back, make a self-assessment and, why not, start planning well ahead for the next school year.
 

Some hints for your eTwinning holidays:

• Have a look at the eTwinning kits: there are new kits available, many of which are based on award-winning projects, to help you to break the “routine” and prepare more sparkling lessons for the next school year.

• Check your eTwinning Desktop from time to time: remember that it is there to help you in your eTwinning journey. Keep in touch with colleagues, share experiences in the Teachers’ Rooms and check out the latest news.

• Enjoy the first Newsletter of the eTwinning Visibility Group: learn about the Group’s work, recent achievements, and how it uses new Web 2.0 tools to promote eTwinning work to the greater public. Find out more about eTwinning Groups.

• Learn more about how to get your pupils involved in eTwinning projects: spend some time to discover the TwinSpace, how you can use it to plan and run a project with your pupils. In particular, see how they can make the best use of the TwinSpace’s Pupils’ Corner.

• Get inspired! Have a look at the Project Gallery to see learn about successful projects. You can search for Quality Label winners, national and European prize winners or by tools used, languages learned, etc.

And finally, stay tuned! More information about the autumn term – including the eTwinning Weeks 2011 campaign in October and a new set of Learning Events for the 2011-2012 school year – will be available by the end of the summer.
