Blogs are an excellent and easy way to increase and facilitate communication in your eTwinning project |
A blog is a personal web space, journal, diary and/or space for schools and interest groups to describe activities and progress in a project. Anything, starting from ideas, news, links to pictures and videos can be published. In addition to the various eTwinning tools available in the TwinSpace, many eTwinning projects use a blog as a collaborative tool for project work. It’s easy to set up, it’s a great way to display project work, and it allows teachers, pupils and other interested participants to post items and/or leave comments for each other. The Central Support Service (CSS) offers a blog for registered schools in eTwinning. If you would like to set one up for your project, simply send an email to Thomas Maier and an account will be set up for you. Here are a few examples: Alternatively, you can also use free external blogging services such as: Blogger, Typepad, Blogsome, LiveJournal, MSN Spaces, WordPress, Schoolrack.
