Draw me!
| This activity helps pupils of both schools to know its other. Through written descriptions of themselves uploaded in the TwinSpace, partner pupils create drawings or paintings of their ghost partners. Using detail and comparing with reality, pupils get to know each other in an artistic and funny way! |
Agegroup: 13 year and up Level: Easy Duration: 3 hours ICT Tools: TwinSpace forum, paint programmes, image processing software (optional), scanner (if doing hand painting) Pedagogical Objectives On successful completion of this activity pupils will be able to: - use ICT tools and TwinSpace forum,
- interpret a text into an image,
- design-draw portraits,
- express his/her imagination and feelings through art,
- develop his/her creativity.
Process Each pupil posts a detailed description of him/herself on the TwinSpace forum and asks a partner pupil to draw him/her according to this description. Pupils can produce a hand or computer painting or even use an image processing software to produce a funny collage (e.g., using the eyes of a famous actor, the body of an athlete, etc). Pictures are then posted back to their rightful recipients who, in turn, reveal their real images by posting them in the photo gallery of the TwinSpace.
