| Aliki Mapentzidou I am a teacher of English working in a Junior High School in a seaside area on the island of Evia. Our town is not far from the capital city, Athens. Our students have various interests and take part in projects and events related to environmental issues, career counselling, music dance, the theatre and the arts in general. Several of them are very good at sports, too. My personal interests lie in the areas of ecology, music, folk dance, travelling and physical exercise. |

| Θα θέλαμε οι μαθητές μας να γνωρίσουν συνομηλίκους τους από άλλες Ευρωπαϊκές χώρες και να ανταλλάξουν πληροφορίες για τη ζωή και τον πολιτισμό τους (σχολική ζωή, κοινωνική ζωή, κουλτούρα,παραδόσεις,τέχνη, φυσικό περιβάλλον, αξιοθέατα). Παράλληλα, θα μπορούσαν από κοινού να ασχοληθούν με κάποιο περιβαλλοντικό ή πολιτιστικό θέμα.Οι μαθητές μας ανήκουν σε περιβαλλοντικές ομάδες και θα μπορούσαν να ασχοληθούν με κάποιο επίκαιρο περιβαλλοντικό θέμα όπως 'εναλλακτικές μορφές ενέργειας', 'κλιματικές αλλαγές'ή 'άνοδος της θερμοκρασίας του πλανήτη'. Στον πολιτιστικό τομέα οι μαθητές μας θα ενδιαφέρονταν για κάποιο πρόγραμμα που να αφορά τη μουσική ή το χορό. Our school is a comprehensive Junior High School situated in a seaside area near Athens. We would like our students to communicate with peers from other European countries and exchange information about their lives and cultures (school and social life, tradition, arts, natural environment, sights and so on). They would like to use English and German for real-life communication. The students could also work on environmental or cultural projects. The environmental projects could concern renewable sources of energy,climate changes or global warming. As for the cultural topics, our students would be interested to be involved in music or dance projects. |
