| Josephine Ebejer Grech I graduated as a Biology teacher in 2000. Taught for 8 years at "San Gorg Preca" Boys' Junior Lyceum Hamrun Malta that is very much known as "San Guzepp Zammit Brighella" Boys' Junior Lyceum Hamrun Malta. I had a baby in 2008 and stopped working for 2 years. Now I will start teaching again in September 2010 at a new school "Marija Regina" Girls' Junior Lyceum St. Ignatius College. I also teach Chemistry, Science and Physics. I have embarked on an eTwinning project some 4 years ago and from that day onwards I didn't look back. I've won first prize in the national competition three years ago with the project "Comparing and Contrasting a Maltese Ecosystem with an Italian Ecosystem". Two years ago I was shortlisted with the first 4 winners of the European competition in the category "Science and Maths". I won second prize two years ago in the Malta national etwinning awards with the project "Film for Secondary School Students" in which my students did some educational video clips of the island of Gozo, the Italian students did some educational videos of wine production, oil production, pomengranades etc, and the Turkish students did some filmings using different software. Another project I did was about "Protected Species", another one is about "Following Our Ecological Footsteps" and the last one is about "European Biotopes". Then, I worked on some more projects about Christmas, music etc. . . We love working on eTwinning projects. Once you start you become addict! ! ! ! Good luck everyone. Josephine |
