| The new project vision is to involve many European Countries. Aims: Students can research their country or represent that of another to gain a better understanding of how their nations' decisions affect the lives of their own country and Europe as a whole. Work process: This would be presented via each country's page on the twin space adding video, power point, photographs, interviews etc. The topic of discussion would change half termly (based on the UK school system) every 6-8 weeks and would run over the academic year. Expected results: Knowledge of global and European politics and issues is not only important to students of international relations, but also to future leaders. It would aim to develop transferable skills essential to all fields of study and employment including: leadership, public speaking; negotiation, mediation and consensus building; and the ability to form relationships rapidly with people of alternative backgrounds and viewpoints. The Working Language will be English but as it is a European forum all languages are welcome as long as we can also add translation. |
