Hello ! English has always been my favourite language and I love teaching it. However I'm tired of using the usual methods in class. Last year I applied for a Comenius grant and in August I took part in a in-service training about practical and creative methodology.I found out about the etwinning portal through the lifelong learning programme . I think this site is very innovative and useful because it offers us both the opportunity to share ideas and opinions with foreign colleagues and the possibility to make our lessons more attractive and challenging.

Project ideas
I have been teaching English for more than 20 years in a secondary school which offers four different types of courses of study, one of which is designed for students interested in foreign languages (Spanish,English, French and German).I teach to students aged 14-18 , but I would like to start a project for the younger students (14-16)because I feel the need to make my lessons more practical and effective through the use of information science and technology.I would like to have a British school among my future partners but I hope to establish a relationship with schools from other countries, too.At the moment I am thinking of a project based on music or on the history of one's own town , including local customs,tourist attractions ,local dishes.
