| Bugra INAL Our School started its education in 1942. But it has been restored recently and now it has a beautiful appearence. It is the oldest school in Usak. It has two buildings including 24 classes in it. Ttwo of them which are on the ground floor are for the nursery students. The number of the students is about 800 and they are aged between 5 and 15. In our school, 30 teachers have been taking part in teaching. We have two computer and one science laboratory. In addition, there is an art room where the students can do different things. Moreover, we have a chess, football, basketball and a table tenns team so we join different competitions which include all the schools in the region during the year . Most of our classes have technological support and internet connection. We give our students chance to show their ablities and imagination during our lessons. Talking about location, our school is in the city centre. You can reach important places like hospital, police station, municipality, etc. easily. Our city, Usak, is rich for its historical places and hand made carpets. You can see the Lydian Treasure, another way of saying ‘Karun Treasure’ in the City Museum which is very close to our school. Besides it is worth saying that Usak has the second biggest canyons in the world. In addition to this our city has an airport which makes it possible to reach İstanbul in 40 minutes. First the capital city Ankara, then other important cities like İzmir and Bursa are only 3 or 5 hours travel. |
