| PAWEŁ WEIMANN Name: Primary School of Antonina Woźna in Przyprostynia Country: Poland Profile of the school: Our school is situated in a small village Przyprostynia. We are a country school. It counts 117 students at the age from 7 to 13 years old. Students study English and German. There are 2 levels of the school. One level is the level for 7-10 year olds, and the students study in a different building, in a neighborhood village- Perzyny. The older pupils study in the mother- school in Przyprostynia. There is only one class at each level. So both schools aren’t big, but they are very neat, and fulfill the needs of teachers and students completely. In the school there is a cozy atmosphere. In the project only students at the age of 12-13 will take part. They are now in the 5 and 6 grade. Our school takes an active part in folk and cultural life. We promote the folk culture within the youngest generation. Our region is very unique one. It is the only region in Poland where people are playing on special musical instrument that is called ‘goat’, because it is made of this animal’s hide. Our school is also the only one that promotes the original folk culture of this area within a whole country. Beside our area is very forestry, Przyprostynia is situated at the lake, many one-day trips are taking place, so that children can explore the nature and surrounding beauty. Students: Our pupils come from different surrounding villages. They get to school by buses. They have various family backgrounds, some of them are richer, some poorer, but they are very simple, kind and nice children, they aren’t spoiled. Parents of many of them have got farms and they keep domestic animals. The students needs aren’t big, they will for sure appreciate and enjoy such project. Students are highly motivated, and nice- it’s quite simple and interesting to teach them. Educational work: For our students we provide many interesting activities such as: - a folk dancing club that promotes the culture, and takes part in many festivals all around the country - PC work - English drama classes- students perform on the basis of famous fairy tales - Additional classes for poorer students - Additional PE lessons for the students with physical difficulties - English language We would like to take part in this project to find about other countries, and to exchange the knowledge and experience with other people all around the world. |

Das Projekt "Die traditionen unserer Grossvater" enthalt alie Teilnahme der Schuler im Alter zwischen 9-12. Am Anfang konnen sich die Schuler dur e-mails kennenzulernen. nach der unterschrift des Vertrags mit der partnerischen Schule, konnen wir uns in Polen in Przyprostynia treffen und auch in Deutschland. Ich mochte folkloristische Werkstatte fuhren, wo unsere Gruppe zeigt, wie die Rituelle Hochzeit aussieht. Die deutsche Gruppe kann uns auch ziegen - deutsche Rituelle und Tanze. Am Ende der Arbeit kann das Album entstehen. Unsere Schuler haben auch die Moglichkeit Deutsch zu lernen. |
