I have recently changed schools & I now teach in a rural school in the center of Ireland. The village is known as Ballinahown & we are about 7 miles from Athlone, Co. Westmeath. We are quite close to the famous monastic ruin known as Clonmacnoise. It is situated on the river Shannon, which is the longest river in Ireland. Athlone is situated to the south of Lough Ree, which is the second lake on the river Shannon. There are 4 teachers in my school & I currently teach the middle classes of 1st, 2nd & 3rd class. The children range in age from 7 - 10 years old.
