This project aims to provide a virtual, safe and effective environment and training opportunity for teachers to - Get to know about the EU’s Lifelong Learning Programme and eTwinning; - Exchange experiences and teaching practices with other European teachers; - register and use the eTwinning online tools - plan and register a collaborative European project on the eTwinning platform; Use other web 2.0 tools to enhance their eTwinning projects. This is a training workshop for teachers, the idea is to provide the proper environment and tools, so that they can practise how to work on the twinspace and learn about the desktop tools.

• Work process: A group of 16 Portuguese teachers are participating in a professional development workshop called “Developing Collaborative European Projects on the... read moreA group of 16 Portuguese teachers are participating in a professional development workshop called “Developing Collaborative European Projects on the eTwinning platform” and after being registered they will get in touch with their Polish and Spanish partners and with other eTwinners to exchange ideas, learn together and plan future collaborative projects in small groups. They analyze different examples of eTwinning projects developed by the Portuguese and Polish schools which have already been awarded the European Quality Label. They set up virtual projects and organize their twinspace according to their projects ideas and goals. These project ideas can be available for further teaching practice and school partnerships. They will also exchange ideas and practice how to use other web 2.0 tools to enhance their eTwinning projects. Some of these tools (such as (Prezi, Monkey Jam, Comiclife, Cmap tools; Movie Maker; PPT; Podcasting and Photosynth ) use will be based on the contents of the Lifelong Learning Course “ICT for Collaborative, Project-based Teaching and Learning” held in Malta in 2010.
