They learn that there are other ways of living by receiving mails etc from members of a different culture. They reach a higher cultural competence and learn to change their perspective. Additionally, all children involved in this project will improve their English language skills by using it for real communication. hide

We are going to send mails... read moreThe German pupils are going to work on this project at least every Friday. We are going to send mails to our partners in which the children describe who they are, what they do, what they like etc. Our partners are going to introduce themselves as well.
During the following weeks, the pupils will decide which topics they would like to discuss, e.g. food, religion, music, language, ...
They will write mails and occasionally work on films etc that will be exchanged.
Most decisions will be made by the pupils which is why my statements cannot be too precise at the moment. hide

They will at least present their project to their school and their families in order to make everyone more open to cultural exchange and to show how useful the English language can be. Hopefully, more projects will be created at our schools. hide
