Postcards from our countries

Project details

Students from each school send postcards to each school three times in one year. The first postcard will describe the History of the school and may include information about lessons and clothes worn to school. Even a few key words in their own language eg school, teacher, lesson. This will be sent in October. The second postcard is about the History of the local area including images. This will be sent in February/March. The third postcard is about the History of our country. This can be any aspect of History. All postcards should include some images. These postcards should be posted to the different schools involved in the project and displayed on a wall in the school. Photos of this display should then be posted on our project space to share with our children. I think our children would love to see their work in a school in another country.
