Students from partner schools become journalists who search for different types of data concerning their local communities and their country in general. The project starts with the work on learners' homeplaces with their history, geographical features, local life and then students concentrate on the issues associated with their countries.

Part 1 – About us and our interests- students introduce themselves to their new friends through the powerpoint presentation. They start working in groups or pairs. Part 2- Our school life - teenagers write articles about their school, emphasizing events and after-lesson activities typical of each school participating in the project. What is each school like? Part 3 - Our little homelands - students present information on location, history, interesting stories from the past, inhabitants, culture communities and local life of their homeplaces. They are a kind of reporters who can also make interviews with citizens to report on what happens in their villages or towns in each season. Videos and displays of photos are welcome in this part of the project. Part 4 - A glimpse at our countries - students share their knowledge about their homelands paying more attention to their location, symbols, capitals, typical food, music and traditions. Part 5 - The future of our places - what they will look like in 20-50 years. The learners give their predictions on the future of their homeplaces and whole countries. What's more, students become aware of other cultures. They learn about similarities and differences between partner communities.
