"A Snapshot of Europe" is a project involving the use of photography by primary school children across Europe. Children in all eTwinning countries will be encouraged to take photographs of their local area, using either digital cameras, or mobile phones. Once each participating school has collected their pupils' pictures together in a range of categories, they need to decide upon their favourite one picture to put forward as their entry into the Europe wide contest which will follow. All pupils in all countries will then be asked to evaluate the entries, and vote, using the webcam conferencing tool, FlashMeeting, to decide the winning entries in each category from all over Europe. The project is planned to run over more years, each year a new page with a photogallery will be added to our Twinspace.

Then, each country has to decide upon their own favourite in each category, and put these pictures forward as their entries into the contest.
