The participants from different European countries have to describe their holidays and celebrations -those ones with connection with the religious celebrations like the days of different saints, or big celebrations like Christmas, Easter or those ones which people celebrate every year -like the day of the Earth, Mother's day, interesting traditions like the day when people from some parts of Bulgaria dance and sing to keep away the snakes etc . In this project can be describe and interesting traditions from the school life-like the first school day in each school or some charity concerts etc. The main purpose of the project is to be shared the culture and traditions in different European countries- our students have to know more about life in other countries. Each participant will write about the holiday in his country and as a result we are going to make one common calendar with dates important for everyone. The task for our students will be to find similarities and differences between us, to understand them and to accept them.The students have to take pictures or to make drawings, to make short films, to record their own MP3 /songs, some stories etc/, to write e-mails. In addition of this in the project will be discussed the origin/ history/ of the holiday. We are going to write a dictionary with the name of the holidays in different languages and to make a calendar at the final of the project.
