All parts contain the lot. European cities constitute Europe together. We create images by capturing the particular details of moments, we make albums from these images and these albums set up the scene of a city, a culture and a nation, and the wonders of everyday life will come to life before our eyes.
We are inviting European students to take part in an exciting discovery. Let’s have a look into the streets, bars, schools and secret corners of the cities of one another, into places that are popular with students. Let’s take a virtual walk

This project includes cross-cullicular subjects like History, Art, Photography, Geography, Social studies, Competence development, Community development and Urban sociology.
Photography cultivates creativity, visual communication, individual and team work, helps one with getting information, building up klnowledge and developing skills. Taking photos requires technology, art and creativity that connects these two things. The photographer becomes an explorer, someone who captures the spirit of the moment. Adolescents from 14 to 18 are the most sensitive and open minded age-group. In my opinion it is important to give them tasks that will pique their interest and motivate their mind and soul.

My group of students have already started taking photos of Budapest. Our idea is to take each letter of the word BUDAPEST for a different theme, i.e. we take B for Buda, U for Underground, D for Danube, A for Art, P for Pest, E for Evening, S for School and T for Tomorrow. Of course, further ideas can be added to the project during co-operation. hide

The album will be available on a website and you will be able to take virtual walks using the maps of the cities participating in the project; the spots of photos provided by our students will be located on the maps. Participating in the project will require an active use of foreign languages for students (English, German, Spanish, French, etc), i.e. writing emails, contacting other students, developing technical skills, creating blogs, using Photoshop and Powerpoint, making websites and organising video conferences. hide
