Considering the important role of emotional intelligence, positive thinking and language development we will attempt to use language, ICT technology and art as a medium for developing our students´ emotional, artistic, as well as ICT skills. Our end product will be a multilingual positive emotions glossary.

• Work process: The project follows a flexible timetable. Each week students are shown one photo (or more) depicting a positive emotion (to... read moreThe project follows a flexible timetable. Each week students are shown one photo (or more) depicting a positive emotion (to activate prior knowledge), discuss it and asked to draw and paint a picture of how they perceive it. Under each picture they write the word both in their mother tongue (with a phonetic transcription in Latin characters) and in English which is the language of communication. They also write a sentence of how they perceive the specific emotion. For example, affection is.... All the students' pictures are collected and put on a big wall poster. They are photographed and put in the twinblog as well as the twinspace of the project. The project finishes on 15th June with an evaluation quiz, based on Kirkpatrick’s model. In more detail, students will be given a questionnaire aiming at providing answers to the following questions: Did they like the project (Reactions) What did they learn (Learning) Will they use what they learnt (Transfer of knowledge) Will they change What is the impact to the school setting (Result) ROI (Return on Investment).
