As part of our project, we would like to develop collaborative story writing through e-mails. We would like children to send/ receive emails, attachments, attach pictures, make a photostory and publish their work on the Internet. This is the Year of Creativity and so we encourage creativity, diversity and rich cultural exchange.

Classes from different countries agree on a common story/fairytale.
-In each class, the children read and discuss the chosen fairytale in their mother tongue.
As story is developed children email each other and each class illustrates part of the story and thinks about the music that could be used in the background.
- The pupils in each class establish the scenes to be illustrated and divide the work;
- Pupils use various techniques to design/draw the scenes.
Exchanging information and learning from each other:
- The pictures are photographed and scanned. Then, the classes exchange and print them. They organise an exhibition in their schools;
- The digital pictures and stories made by pupils in all schools are put together in a photostory
- Each class creates an audio track for the PowerPoint presentation version of the fairytale in their mother tongue;
- All classes listen to the fairytale in their partners' language and compare the two languages.
Cross curricular links with Literacy- Stories from Other Cultures, Music, Art, Drama, Citizenship,ICT and speaking and listening.
