- Work process: 1.Let's get to know one another, that is establishing contact between Polish and Portuguese students – conversations, photographs. 2.Preparing a... read more1.Let's get to know one another, that is establishing contact between Polish and Portuguese students – conversations, photographs. 2.Preparing a Power Point presentation, about school and the school patron ( the great Polish astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus). 3.Preparing materials on our home town Żywiec ( the Royal Castle with a sundial, the old brewery, Chinese Cottage) and its surroundings (the mountains – Beskid Żywiecki) 4.Planning astronomical sessions at the same time (depending on the weather) and describing these observations. 5.Description of our own observations of the sky (the Moon, the Sun, meteors, constellations) 6..Elaborating on the topic of solar energy and its use in the Żywiec district. a) geothermal waters, b) hydroelectric power stations, c) roof solar collectors. 7.Sharing the information on how the International Year of Astronomy is celebrated in our schools hide
