Pupils write a description of themselves, with the help of a model, explaining their physical appearance and their hobbies (in a Word document). They make a self-portrait using a drawing computer program and scan photographs of them. Children meet their European partners playing with a game in which they’ll find the correct photo only having their descriptions and their self-portraits. Pupils also create a Christmas card to their partners. Cards will be sent by ordinary mail. 2. Pupils create a word-search with the names of the children of the other country. Children take photos of the school using a digital camera and write the comments of the photos in a PowerPoint presentation made by the teacher (or the oldest pupils). They also create and write a card/bookmark, related to a school festival, to their partners. Cards/bookmarks will be sent by ordinary mail. 3. Pupils take photos of his/her village using a digital camera and/or search them on the Internet. They search information of the monuments or the village on the Internet, too. Children write the comments of the photos in a PowerPoint presentation made by the teacher (or the oldest pupils), but they decide the colour of the letters and the colour of the slides. Children also write a postcard of their village/town to their partners. They will be sent by ordinary mail. All the PowerPoint presentations will be seen in class in order to compare the way of life of both countries. Apart from that, teachers will send by email photos and information of the school festivals and celebrations to the partner country teacher (in a PowerPoint presentation, preferably). hide
