I would like to participate in projects that help student's learn about their cultural heritage and share this knowledge with students of other places or countries of Europe. I' m sure that this knowledge helps people -students and teachers- to understand better other Europeans with a different historical, religious, social and cultural background, overcome prejudices and ignorance, diminish racism and xenophobia and make them better European citizens. My greek origins but, first of all, my studies in ancient greek culture, language and philosophy had convinced me that beyond the borders of the different european countries exist a common european culture, ideas and principles that can solidate the European identity. At last but not least, I come from the greek island of Cephallonia, the ancient Kingdom oh Olysses, who was the man that "saw the people' cities and knew their ethics and minds", and i work in the city of Elefsina - the site of the Eleusinian Mysteries and birth place of Aeschylus- in a school titled "Aristotelio Leceum".
