VILA NOVA DA BARONIA, is a small village located in southern Portugal in the district of ALVITO in the region of the great plains of the Alentejo.

The Schools and Kindergartens of these two small villages, form a territory that is called the Groupment of Schools in the Borough of Alvito.

We have 155 children from 3 to 10 years old, divided by 6 clases primary school and 4 classes of kindergarten. Twelve teachers and four auxiliares.

We intend to work with these children-related projects Environmental Education, with the knowledge of Cultural Heritage, food and healthy living.
