I am really interested in British civilisation and culture and I would like to share my experience with other teachers from other countries.I usually celebrate with my students some of the British holidays and I think getting acquainted with the way other teachers encourage their students to try to know more things about Great Britain and its culture would be a great opportunity to improve and make my activities funnier. I'd like to see the way British holidays and important events are celebrated in other countries . Above all these I always encourage my students to mix the study of a foreign language with their artistic abilities , for example I ask them to make posters and stories related to certain aspects of the English language , culture and civilisation .So I think art is also very important because a foreign language actually means art for me and my students.We sometimes organize fancy- dress parties or other such events in order to get closer to our students and make them learn English for pleasure. I hope to find partners who agree with me.
