I am an english language teacher in a greek primary school, experimentary in the english language. Within the frame of CLIL I teach Environmental Studies to 4th grade students, aged 9. It is a subject which is taught in greek in the other schools of the country but certain chapters are taught in english in our school. We are focusing on ecosystems and the classification of animals and plants, with examples from greek ecosystems. We would be interested in working with schools from countries where the ecosystems are slightly different from our own, such as northern european countries, and exchange information in the english language with students of a similar age.

I am actively involved in the EFL field by participating in the KPG exams (as an oral examiner of the English language) and by having taught English as a foreign language for a number of years(about 18) in private and public sectors, Lifelong Education courses etc. Currently, my main interests lie in teaching young learners and the use of ICT.

I am an English teacher at the third experimental School of Evosmos. I teach english to young learners, 6-8 year olds, and I have a CLIL class, too. In my CLIL class I teach Religious Education to 10 year olds. At the moment we are doing a project on Alms giving, through stories of the New Testament, while at the same time focusing on lifes of Holy people who were particularly charitable. I would be interested to work with people of different denominations and religions( especially Muslims)on this and other themes.I also do a Literature programme with my 3rd grade.
