| I teach Science in Elementary School. My school, which is situated in the centre of Poland, is interested in cooperation with other schools. We would like to share ideas about environment and also to know more and more about European tradition. We would like to start two of our projects that we've made up, therefore we're looking for partners for both of them. 1.We would like to make friends with pupils from various countries and share information and knowledge about us, our schools, towns, countries, celebrations and many other interesting issues. In addition to this, we want to notice similarities and differences between our countries so that we can get to know more about Europe. As all presentations are to be in English, we have a good opportunity to improve our language skills. Nonetheless, our major idea is to prove that we can have a good contact and get to know each other well even though there is a distance between the places we live. 2.Students gather knowledge about ways of the environmental protection and its importance. They enumerate various parts of the natural environment which are mainly exposed to threats. In addition to this, they make actions to pay the society attention to the local protection of species through the cooperation with organizations that support that issue. Students also make arrangements for their school mates to focus on the need of sorting wastes so that people can live in the clean and natural surroundings. |
