Our life through photos is a project that enables children to find out about other countries cultures, buildings, people, schools and celebrations through the use of photography. Children will also get to practice their use of the English language in the short descriptions that will go with each photo.

Children will enjoy the process of teaching others about their locality and the things they do within it. It is our aim for children to see that there are a lot of similarities between the countries as well as unique differences. It is our aim that children ask questions about other countries and cultures and that these questions can be answered by children from these countries rather than a book or the internet. It is our aim for our children to develop a 'friendship' with children in other countries. It is an opportunity for children to practice their MFL (English). skjul
• Arbejdsproces: Each school will begin by discussing their own locality - what is in it, who is in it, what religions... læs mereEach school will begin by discussing their own locality - what is in it, who is in it, what religions are in it, what buildings are in it, famous landmarks etc and decide on what they want to share with children from other countries. All the schools involved will pick the same area to focus on so that children can make comparisons between countries e.g. we will all do school life as the first topic area. All the children ( in a class) will be involved in the taking of photos either within school time or in their own so that they can take photos of places they visit within their locality as the project progresses. Each class will then put together a album i.e. a PowerPoint of the 'topic' photos (e.g. School life) that will be uploaded onto TwinSpace for the schools to share. We will look at a different topic each month so the project will continue until the end of the school year (JULY). Children will also be able to communicate via a blog on twinspace. skjul
