Project-1: DON'T LET YOUR LANGUAGE TO BE SPOILED! This project aims to protect the mother tongue to be spoiled and effected by foreign languages and find reasons and sources of this situation, find solutions to prevent this and illuminate everybody starting from our own students and spreading it to all over the world. "Turkish people, who know how to save their country must rescue their language from the invansion of the foreign languages (ATATÜRK)." By moving from our great leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's speech, we, as Yöneliş College, started a project called "Don't Let Spoil Our Language, Let's Protect Turkish!" at the beginning of the year 2006-2007 academic year. The research was formed in three parts. The first part which was produced by gathering all essential information mentioned in the bibliography was theoretical. In the second part, surveys had been prepared and carried out on the tradesmen, students and public in Buca, İzmir. Finally the results had been evaluated. In the third and final part, there were a lot of activities which was prepared to illuminate people.So, Yöneliş College won a prize called "Türkçe Genç Emek Ödülü" within Days of Turkish Language which was arranged 6 times, in 2006.
